Accelerated rewards
- 5% on online spend (cap 2000 cashback inr / statement)5% on online (card-not-present) spend, capped Rs 2,000/cycle — devalued from Rs 5,000 on 1 Apr 2026, so the 5% now saturates at Rs 40,000 of online spend per cycle. Scope is the CHANNEL, not a merchant category: there is no merchant list and no MCC allowlist, and e-commerce, food-delivery apps and streaming all qualify (Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Ajio, Swiggy, Zomato, Blinkit, BigBasket are the merchants named in issuer-adjacent listings). Retagged 2026-07-28 from canonical_categories [online] — the old tag meant food delivery and online groceries scored ZERO here despite qualifying. Provenance caveat: the channel definition and merchant examples come from the product/review tier, not SBI's MITC PDF (docs/sources/sbi/cashback/cashback-tnc-ekit.pdf is gitignored and absent), so this is web-tier confidence — see docs/TODO.md E13.
- Cashback credited automatically to statement within 2 days of next statement.
- 5% online cashback capped at Rs 2,000 per statement cycle (saturates at Rs 40,000 of online spend).
- 1% base is paid on OFFLINE (card-present) spend and is capped at Rs 2,000 per statement cycle. It does NOT backstop online spend, so qualifying online spend past the Rs 2,000 accelerated cap earns nothing. The canonical buckets have no card-present axis, so `base.applies_to_categories` cannot express this and the calculator still credits 1% on online overflow — overstating the card above Rs 40,000/month of online spend. See docs/TODO.md E17.
- Aggregate online + offline cashback capped at Rs 4,000 per statement cycle (archived SBI T&C e-kit).
